Unnai Pol Oruvan
Unnai Pol Oruvan Review
Unnai Pol Oruvan is the remake of the hindi movie A Wednesday. UPO is true to its original without much deviation. It is the story of a common man’s anger towards terrorism. It also sends out the strong message that terrorism can/should be curbed through terrorism alone.
Kamal Haasan plays the role of (yep..! no name for him in the movie. What in a name? asks Mohan Lal at the end). Mohan Lal plays the commissioner IGR Marrar. One day he gets a call from Kamal that he has planted five bombs in and around the city and demands release of four terrorists. (There is a supplement bomb that he plants at a police station which he uses to show his seriousness). He also uses a TV news channel as his eyes to get to know what is happening at the police side.
Lakshmi plays the role of Chief Secretary of the state. She gives all powers to Marrar to take decisions. He agrees to free prisoners but also tries to trace the location of Kamal. That proves to be useless until an IIT drop-out who specializes in hacking comes to the rescue. Why Kamal demands the release of terrorists? Whats his intention? Did they trace him? Watch it for yourself.

Beauty of WordsOnce Boswell asked Johnson how synonyms (that is, different words having the same meaning) get into a language. “That is because stupid people use the language”, Johnson replied, “and they use different words as if they have the same meaning”. “Then how do we get words having several meanings?” asked Boswell. “This is because smart people use the language” replied Johnson “and they use the same word as if it has several meanings”.

LOVE UNDER THE REPUBLICANS OR DEMOCRATS
Come live with me and be my love And we will all the pleasures prove Of a marriage conducted with economy In the Twentieth Century Anno Donomy We’ll live in a dear little walk-up flat With practically room to swing a cat . . We’ll stand in line on holidays For seats at unpopular matinees, And every Sunday we’ll have a lark And take a walk in Central Park. And one of these days not too remote I’ll probably up and cut your throat.

Quotes of Woody AllenHere are some quotes of famous American filmmaker Woody Allen: There are worse things in life than death. Have you ever spent an evening with an insurance salesman? How can I believe in God when just last week I got my tongue caught in the roller of an electric typewriter? If only God would give me some clear sign! Like making a large deposit in my name in Swiss bank. MY FEARS AND DOUBTS
I am Ragavan (which is not at all important for you; but it's important for me, do you know why? this lives with me for the past fifty years) Thousands of doubts flash in my mind. (but don't think me as a brilliant everything goes in vain). Aslice of anxiety joins hand in hand with it. I am also a man of prevention. Once I entered a hotel to load my belly 43Rs had I, in my wallet. I was very much careful about providing security for my money. A doubt knocked the doors of my mind. What will I do if the bill is above Rs 43 will they put me to grind the flour? Oh! The invention Grinder will not allow them to do so! Will they ask me to prepare doosai for the day? With this fear filled heart I finished eating. Haa... The bill was just 38Rs that was the last day ever I have entered such big hotels.
